Bowhill House is located on Hawkswood Country Estate is a luxurious retreat conveniently located 10 minutes from the famed links of St Andrews, nestling in the picturesque hamlet of Peat Inn.  This is the 3rd property on the Estate which opened from June 2022.

A beautiful property on a sumptuous five-star resort boasting world-class facilities, this haven is surrounded by 65 acres of tranquil countryside and is ideally situated to provide easy access to St Andrews.

Bowhill House offers lavish accommodation paired with a tailor-made service and to complete the experience, an indulgent hydro spa is at your disposal.  A 270-yard driving range rounds off this exquisite family-run resort.  This property is all on one level so ideal for guests looking for spacious accessible accommodation.

 

Accommodation

Five spacious bedrooms each with their own bathroom.   All bedrooms are zip and link so have the option of being super king doubles or twin accommodation.  With power showers, roll-top baths, memory foam super-sprung super-king zip and link beds, complimentary fibre-optic Wi-Fi, robes and slippers, Bowhill House offers a warm welcome and an indulgent stay.  A large accessible property all on one level offering two lounge areas at each end of the house, dining room with views to the garden and a high spec luxury dining kitchen.  Outdoor relax in your very own hydro spa with views across the River Forth.

Entertainment and Activities

Bowhill House offers guests the chance to unwind in our Hydro Spa, with room for all. It offers 43 state-of-the-art jets that relieve-tension in targeted areas including your back, neck, shoulders and calves by cascading up and down your back, a perfect way to relax and unwind.   Enjoy dining al fresco with our impressive Mediterranean barbecue and outdoor patio area. Perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing with friends and family.

Cuisine

Bowhill House has been designed to incorporate sophisticated styling with unashamed luxury. Grand bedrooms are complimented by a feature-packed statement kitchen that inspire and enthuse and an expansive Mediterranean barbecue and patio area facilitate al fresco dining and sundowner drinks. Equally, the in-house catering team can provide delicious bespoke breakfasts while a rosta of carefully chosen private chefs can create tailored menus to satisfy the most exacting palate. The nearby Peat Inn is home to a Michelin-starred restaurant while St Andrews offers an extensive range of dining options.

Transport

Hawkswood Country Estate has a 16-seater mini coach available for hire by guests.  For stays of three nights or more we offer one complimentary return transfer per day (excluding the festive period). Our 16-seater is available to guests requiring transfers to and from their destination within the St Andrews / East Neuk area.  Transport requirements must be booked in advance. Any additional transfers are chargeable.
