Set within five acres of private countryside in South Ayrshire, Ladyburn House is an exclusive-use Scottish country house created for people to gather, celebrate, reconnect and spend time together. Nine individually appointed en-suite bedrooms, five configurable as super-king or twin, allow up to 18 guests to stay together under one roof, with two additional fold-out beds available by arrangement for a total capacity of up to 20. Beautifully designed interiors combine the character and warmth of a country house with contemporary comfort. At Ladyburn, the luxury lies not only in the house itself, but in the freedom to make it your own. Guests have exclusive use of the house and grounds throughout their stay, with generous living spaces for gathering and quieter corners for time alone. The dining room seats up to 18 guests around one table, ideal for long family dinners and celebration meals.

The fully equipped kitchen is available to guests who wish to cook for themselves, while trusted private chefs can provide breakfasts, family-style dining, celebration dinners, grazing tables and wood-fired pizza evenings in Ladyburn’s outdoor pizza oven. A bean-to-cup coffee machine is available for guests to use throughout their stay, along with tea and filtered water.

Wellness facilities include a private sauna, an outdoor hot tub, two ice baths, and a dedicated yoga and movement studio, with a private treatment room for on-site massage and beauty treatments by arrangement. For celebrations and warmer-weather gatherings, the seasonal Garden Pavilion offers an elegant outdoor entertaining space overlooking the grounds, available by arrangement subject to season, weather and availability.

Ladyburn is ideally positioned for golf on the Ayrshire coast, within reach of Turnberry, Royal Troon, Prestwick and Western Gailes, with post-golf recovery available through the sauna, hot tub and ice baths. One bedroom sits on the ground floor for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. Additional housekeeping, staffing, therapists, activities and transfers can all be arranged, combining the privacy of a private country house with the thoughtful support of a boutique hotel.

Grounds and Gardens

Ladyburn House sits within 4.5 acres of private South Ayrshire countryside, surrounded by mature trees, lawns and gardens. An ancient oak tree forms a natural focal point, while a private woodland walk follows the burn towards Ladyburn’s secluded waterfall. Guests can gather around the fire, dine outside or relax in the wellness area, with the seasonal Garden Pavilion offering an additional space for outdoor dining and celebrations

Ladyburn sits on the Ayrshire coast, internationally renowned for golf, with Turnberry, Royal Troon, Prestwick and Western Gailes among the celebrated courses within reach. Beyond golf, guests can explore dramatic coastline and beaches, Culzean Castle and Country Park, picturesque villages, local food and produce, walking routes and the landscapes associated with Robert Burns.

Ladyburn House is located at Kilkerran, close to Maybole. Maybole railway station provides connections towards Ayr and Glasgow, and private transfers can be arranged. Glasgow Prestwick Airport and Glasgow Airport provide convenient options for domestic and international guests, with airport transfers available by prior arrangement.
