Hawkswood Country Estate offers lavish accommodation paired with a tailor-made service. Dining facilities for the entire large group to eat together available for up to 30 guests in The Roundel. To complete the experience, indulgent hydro spas are at your disposal alongside private short-game areas, which include putting greens, chipping areas and sand-filled bunkers. A 270-yard driving range rounds off this exquisite family-run resort.
Hawkswood House offers decadent accommodation for up to 10 guests with five outstanding en-suite bedrooms that feature power showers, a Whirlpool bath, flat screen TVs, memory foam super-sprung super-king zip and link beds along with complimentary fibre-optic Wi-Fi, robes and slippers. Golf trips have never been more indulgent. In addition, two glorious reception rooms with wood burners, flat screen TVs and access to a beautiful terraced balcony provide the ideal space to kick back and relax. The heart of The Roundel also accommodates up to 10 guests with five spacious en-suite bedrooms. Bowhill House also offers five spacious bedrooms each with their own bathroom. A large accessible property all on one level offering two lounge dining areas at each end of the house and a high spec luxury dining kitchen. At Hawkswood Country Estate we cater for the golfer. So, in order to improve your short game skills, before visiting one of the great golf courses in nearby St Andrews, we have built your very own Short Game Areas private to each house in our grounds. Our Short Game Areas were designed and built by a golf professional, to provide the perfect practice area for honing your short game. Hawkswood House has 5 pitching mats, 6 holes and two bunkers, providing a wide range of lies and distances. The Roundel has 3 pitching mats, 9 holes and two bunkers. This offers the opportunity to practice a variety of shots on your very own private practice area. Bowhill golf practice area will be developed by April 2022. We are also delighted to offer our private 250-yard driving range on the Estate for all guests to use.
All properties offer guests the chance to unwind in our Hydro Spa, with room for all. It offers 43 state-of-the-art jets that relieve-tension in targeted areas including your back, neck, shoulders and calves by cascading up and down your back, a perfect way to relax and unwind. Enjoy dining al fresco with our impressive Mediterranean barbecue and outdoor patio area. Perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing with friends and family.
Bowhill House is popular as the ‘host’ house offering two large lounge spaces, one of which has its own makeshift bar and pool table. A great space for everyone to gather.
Each property at Hawkswood Country Estate has been designed to incorporate sophisticated styling with unashamed luxury. The properties are complimented by feature-packed statement kitchens that inspire and enthuse and an expansive Mediterranean barbecue and patio area facilitate al fresco dining and sun downer drinks. Equally, the in-house catering team can provide delicious bespoke breakfasts while a rosta of carefully chosen private chefs can create tailored menus to satisfy the most exacting palate. The nearby Peat Inn is home to a Michelin-starred restaurant while St Andrews offers an extensive range of dining options.
Hawkswood Country Estate has a 16-seater mini coach available for hire by guests. For stays of three nights or more we offer one complimentary return transfer per day (excluding the festive period). Our 16-seater is available to guests requiring transfers to and from their destination within the St Andrews / East Neuk area. Transport requirements must be booked in advance. Any additional transfers are chargeable.
When Hawkswood Country Estate is taken exclusively for one party we can offer 15 bedrooms and accommodate up to 30 guests – offering a wonderful 5-star experience. You can also book two properties for up to 20 guests in 10 bedrooms, please enquire for pricing.
