Hidden within the woodland area of The Hosh, and surrounded by elegant gardens overlooking the River Turret, we are delighted to introduce The Aberturret Estate House – a 19th century Dower house, formerly owned by the Murray Clan – which is now available as a private hideaway for up to 12 guests. Located right beside the renowned and wonderful Glenturret Distillery on the outskirts of Crieff in Highland Perthshire.

A warm embrace welcomes you with an open hearth fireplace, a spacious lounge, formal dining room, and stylish cocktail bar, where guests can gather and enjoy the very best of Scottish hospitality. At the heart of our open-plan, fully equipped kitchen is a traditional countryside Aga, perfect for social entertainment and self-catering stays. Guest staying at Aberturret House also have preferential access, subject to availability at The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant, a two Michelin-starred exquisite dining experience situated within The Glenturret Distillery, the first of its kind worldwide.
Inspired by the Highland landscape and the whisky heritage of The Glenturret Distillery, the rooms are decorated in muted tones, complete with soft furnishings crafted from Bute Fabric and historic Harris Tweeds, contemporary pottery from Scottish based potters Jono Smart, Hazel Frost & Ingot Objects, and custom furniture pieces. The house also plays host to a collection of works by Scottish artists from across the last two centuries including Edward Arthur Walton, Joseph Farquharson and Sir Eduardo Paolozzi carefully curated in partnership with the Fine Art Society.
