How time has changed in the World of Exclusive Use…
I set up my business back in Year 2003, 17 years ago and now specialising in sales representation for exclusive use properties, how times have changed over the years. When I started my business all those years ago, my representation was mainly for country house hotels who if available could offer exclusive use of the hotel to groups. It was an expensive proposition and one which was not readily available working around the regular clientele.
I commenced marketing some exclusive use properties 15 years ago and at the time there were around 5 top end properties for clients to book. Now there are closer to 50 and it is wonderful to see Owners embracing such a marketing concept and one which I see only growing in success in years to come.
We are welcoming clients from all over the World utilising such properties from the USA to Australia. From the terminology varying from buy out to holiday rental, it is a concept known and requested by many.
Clients are looking for a more bespoke experience and one which is on their time scale. They do not want to be dictated to as to what time breakfast is served until, or dress codes, or set dinner menus – they want their own private Chef dedicated to their dietary requirements and culinary favourites. They want to relax and have a tailored itinerary just for them to experience the wonders the location has to offer, or better still find a quiet corner to read a book and admire the views.
For families the exclusive use option is even better as parents can relax and let kids be kids and have fun running around the house and grounds, playing games, watching films in the movie room, learn to kayak and other fun adventures for the older kids – but most of all a good memorable time is experienced by every member of the family.
So what are you waiting for…
